STÖNER

Album Overview

  • Laid back, chillin' stoner rock from California desert legends Brant Bjork, Nick Oliveri and Ryan Gut

  • The bass work of Mr. Oliveri is slightly distorted and very low toned. We recommend turning up with caution, it will test some of the best speakers out there

  • Brant's classic guitars and vocals flow beautifully throughout, creating the chill atmosphere

  • Ryan Gut's drumming is dense and provides a steady stoned groove

  • Stoners Rule may not the most exploratory stoner album out there, but it doesn't need to be. The heavenly bluesy fuzz is magical and just feels right

  • This is basically a no brainer for fans of the genre. We love the classic Brant Bjork heavy vibe fused with early Kyuss bass work. Another fantastic stoner rock album to absorb this summer

Track Listing:

1. Rad Stays Rad (6:27)

2. The Older Kids (5:09)

Standout Track(s):

The Older Kids

Tremendous steady stoner rock. The percussion leads the way as this track has an awesome summer desert vibe.

Stand Down

Fuck the song is good. No words.

Tribe/Fly Girl

13 minutes of tribal stoner jamming... a classic desert tune.

Brew Pairing

Chill with some Double Sunrise IPA by Northway Brewing in Queesbury , NY. This 9% brew is on the stronger side, but smooth notes of tangerine and Citra.
