Rollin' Dice (Reroll)

Turn this to 4.7 of 11

Released: 2020

Genre: Hard Rock

Sounds Like: Planet of Zues, Jet

The strong album cover lured us into this one as Greece natives Rollin' Dice release their 2nd album of high flying' hard rock upon us. Musically the album is solid with its grunge-like heaviness and bluesy hard rock. However, it came down to the vocals. Guitarist and lead vocalist Antonis has this way over the top Bon Scott tone that is very overwhelming and takes away from the music. Every note feels dragged out and over sung. He has a strong range, but it becomes too much after the third track in. Overall, this album seems to have a solid foundation musically, but it didn't hang on too long in our rotation.

Track Listing:

1. One More Time 03:54

2. With You 04:43

3. Pivoine 01:33

4. Walking Away 06:01

5. My Way 04:14

6. Reroll 02:51

7. Science Fiction 03:51

8. Into The Fire 09:58

Standout Track:

We love track three "Pivoine". This short acoustic track is comforting and a blessing for your ears.

Adult Beverage Pairing:

Reroll pairs well with Blazing World IPA from California's Modern Times Brewing. This hoppy 8.7% beer is loaded up with intemperate quantities of Nelson, Mosaic, and Simcoe hops, which creates a slightly fruity aroma and taste.
