Album Overview
The sophomore release by Robot God is two lengthy psychedelic heavy tracks rooted in stoner rock with soft layers of psychedelia
A nice follow-up to 2020's Silver Buddha Dreaming, which was great debut
The album flows beautifully between psychedelic rock, mesmerizing space rock and classic stoner rhythms
The title track delivers standard fare. Solid riffs but nothing that will stop you in your tracks
With only two songs, we have a craving for more. Hopefully it's a glimpse for more to come
Track Listing:
1. Valleys of Primordia 10:11
2. Burn the Sun 10:17
Standout Track(s)
Burn the Sun
This track is so fucking captivating and majestic. With minimal synths and the addition of some vocals, this drifty space tune is very trippy with mind numbing weightless fuzz and a wonderful bass undercurrent.
Brew Pairing
Sydney’s 4 Pint and their stellar 5.1 ABV Nitro Stout works well with the meandering vision of "Valleys of Pimordia." Smooth, dry coffee notes its Australia’s first Nitro Stout in a bottle. A beautiful creamy head after you pour hard and fast into a glass. A dry Irish Stout, presenting almost black and bearing a generous tan head. Aromas of coffee, chocolate and caramel are matched with a full bodied mouthfeel, a smooth finish and a rounding bitterness. MALTS: Ale, Marris Otter, Cara Munich, Med. Crystal, Carapils, Roasted Barley and Carafa Special HOPS: Target & Fuggles.
