Blackletter (Animal Farm)
Crank this to 3.9 of 11
Year Released: 2020
Genre: Hard rock, Progressive
Sounds Like: Faith No More, Circus of Power

Balckletter from Rhode Island have put together an ambitious album filled with dramatic progressive hard rock. The eight songs are somewhat unique to the progressive rock genre. We love the use of the piano and the unique songwriting, but that’s about all that kept us intrigued. Animal Farm often gives off a 90’s glam metal vibe which throws us for a loop. Check out “Fallin Down” and the Dangerous Toys sounding “Dark River,” this track bleeds with 90s glam rock. We’ve had this album in rotation for quit some time and struggled to find a consistent place in our rotation.
