Elaborate and well thought out are usually not words that come to the forefront of our minds with many death metal acts these days. Welcome Zloslut from Belgrade Serbia. Their latest album released by Morbid Chapel Records is chockfull of ominous movements ebbing through intricate speed metal fretwork and cantankerous growling. The prolific four-piece act has been around since 2011 and have really honed in on their sound with Sahar. The seven tracks coming in at just over 50 minutes blend nicely delivering solid levels of contrast.Excellent production coupled with involved melodies and soundscapes make for an impressive sitting.

Track Listing:
1. Collapsing of Cardinality and the Rising of Absolute (9:04)
2. The Quest (5:47)
3. From Where the Light Springs (5:46)
4. Shadowdwellers Tyranny (8:18)
5. Of a Nameless Faith (6:45)
6. To Break the Circle of Samsara (4:43)
7. Become the Beyond (11:22)

Standout Track:
The closer "Become the Beyond" closes Sahar with a fucking bang. Check-out how they break things down at the 6:13 mark. Beautiful fretwork mastery with some of the most poignant melodies of the album. The funeral dirge synth at the closing of the song will send chills throughout.

Adult Beverage Pairing:
Kabinet Olga Baltic Porter from Serbia. The 7.5% ABV porter is rich with black color and a brown head. With malty aromas of licorice, caramel, bread, coffee and chocolate, plus a sweet and light bitter unique taste.
