The Chilean trio bring the fanatical fuzz in prime formula on their fifth release entitled Temaukel, the Spirit Before Time. A pseudo follow-up concept album to their previous release Tierra Del Feugo. The bi-lingual release features some very rich production and wildly meandering riffs. David Veliz is a very gifted man leading the charge on clear and distorted vocals, but more impressively some of the best psychedelic stoner fretwork you will hear.

Track Listing:
1. Sons of Black Sun (4:59)
2. Blues para Angela Loij (5:49)
3. Temaukel (8:20)
4. Psilocybeat (4:45)
5. Planeta Muerto (5:02)
6. Summer Hell (4:58)
7. Death as an Advisor (7:28)

Standout Track:
"Temaukel" title track is the backbone and actor of this album. While all tracks hold their own, "Temaukel" shines for its superb variety and insane fretwork. Veliz’s distortion both vocally and fuzz tonally are tremendous. Sanhueza and Quezada do a wonderful job with the deep undercurrents. The closer "Death as an Advisor" came up a short second with its whirlwind swirling guitar melodies…what a closer!

Adult Beverage Pairing:
Tubing Hoppiness IPA at 6% ABV brewed out of Valdivia de Paine, Chile features medium carbonation and low head retention but consistent pine and citric aroma and flavor. The hops will hit your taste buds nicely with medium bitterness. Low on the fruity which we like as a nice compliment to the aggressive fuzz that is Demonauta.
